Job Description

Make a difference supporting students and educators through your expertise as a school psychologist. This contract position offers the opportunity to work near Battle Creek, MI, where you'll collaborate with educators and families to promote student success and well-being. Use your specialized knowledge to conduct assessments, consult with staff, and develop interventions in a school environment that values your professional insight. Desired Qualifications and Experience Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and IEP processes Strong consultation skills to collaborate effectively with teachers, administrators, and families Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) models Compassionate communicator with a commitment to diversity and inclusion Key Responsibilities Administer and interpret psychological evaluations to determine student needs and support services Participate in multidisciplinary teams to develop, monitor, and review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Offer consultation and recommendations to educators and parents regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions Implement crisis intervention strategies and support mental health initiatives in the school setting Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of cases and services provided Deliver in-service training sessions and professional development for school staff as needed Foster a positive learning environment that promotes student well-being and achievement Experience the fulfillment that comes with making a meaningful impact in the lives of students and the broader school community.
