School Psychologist | Cassopolis, MI | 2026-2027 School Year Onward Search Education is a specialized education staffing and talent solutions company that helps educators, therapists, and school-based professionals find rewarding opportunities with school districts nationwide. We're partnering with a school district in Cassopolis, Michigan to hire a dedicated School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 school year . In this role, you'll support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success by conducting evaluations, providing counseling and interventions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and helping create safe, inclusive learning environments.

Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational evaluations to determine eligibility for special education services and identify students' strengths and needs. Administer and interpret cognitive, academic, behavioral, and social-emotional assessments. Provide individual and group counseling to support students with emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Develop and implement evidence-based intervention strategies to improve student outcomes. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service providers to support student success. Participate in IEP and 504 meetings, contributing evaluation results and recommendations. Consult with school staff on behavior management strategies, classroom supports, and intervention planning. Support school-wide initiatives focused on social-emotional learning (SEL), positive behavior supports, trauma-informed practices, and bullying prevention. Assist with crisis response and provide support following school emergencies or critical incidents. Monitor student progress and use data to evaluate intervention effectiveness and guide decision-making. Advocate for equitable access to educational and mental health services for all students.Qualifications:
Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology. Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
