Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (state requirements must be met) Experience working in K-12 educational settings strongly preferred Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results Strong knowledge of special education laws, processes, and best practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, parents, and staff Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing multiple school assignments

Core Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of students referred for special education or related services Interpret data and prepare clear, actionable reports to inform Individualized Education Program (IEP) planning Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, offering expertise on student learning, behavior, and mental health Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to create supportive environments and develop effective interventions Support crisis intervention and response efforts as needed Maintain accurate documentation, adhering to all ethical, legal, and district guidelines
