Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Qualifications and Experience:
Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Michigan Experience providing psychological services in a school environment, preferably at the elementary level Solid understanding of special education processes and multi-tiered systems of support Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents Comfortable with assessment, counseling, consultation, and intervention practices Ability to maintain confidential records and adhere to ethical guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and academic assessments for students Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide recommendations and strategies for supporting students' behavioral, emotional, and academic needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster a positive and inclusive educational environment Offer short-term counseling and crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate documentation of services and student progress
