Qualifications:
Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certificate required Experience or training in cognitive and developmental assessments preferred Strong collaborative and communication skills Familiarity with behavioral support strategies and special education processes
Responsibilities:
Administer assessments to determine student needs in areas such as attention, adaptive skills, behavioral support, and autism Participate in initial and re-evaluation processes with evaluation team members Conduct cognitive/developmental testing for student assessments Collaborate with MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) teams regarding special education referrals Take part in Functional Behavioral Assessment and Positive Behavior Support Plan meetings Lead initial and some re-evaluation meetings and conduct
