Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a difference supporting students and educators by bringing your expertise as a School Psychologist to a dynamic educational environment near Garden City, MI! This full-time, contract opportunity spans the full school year and is designed for professionals passionate about promoting student success through comprehensive evaluation services.

What You'll Bring:

Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Current state-issued license or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility for licensure) Experience conducting cognitive, behavioral, academic, and social-emotional evaluations Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, educators, and families Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills Strong knowledge of special education laws, RTI/MTSS frameworks, and IEP processes

Role Responsibilities:

Administer a range of psychoeducational assessments to identify students' strengths and areas for growth Interpret data, develop evidence-based recommendations, and provide comprehensive written evaluation reports Participate in eligibility meetings and IEP team discussions as the evaluation expert Consult with educators and families to support appropriate interventions and educational planning Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with district and legal requirements Focus exclusively on evaluations - no counseling required in this position
