Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for school-aged children. Develop individualized education plans in collaboration with educators and parents. Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional or behavioral challenges. Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student mental health and learning needs. Maintain comprehensive documentation of assessments and interventions.
Qualifications:
MI School Psychologist certification or equivalent. Valid Michigan School Psychologist license or certification. Minimum 1 year of experience as a School Psychologist; experience in elementary settings with less than 75 evaluations per year preferred. Strong assessment skills and proficiency in evaluations. Compliance with background checks. Communication, teamwork, and adaptability skills. Physical ability to perform evaluations and participate in school-based activities.
