Job Description

Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract A school district in the Kalamazoo area is seeking a School Psychologist for a flexible contract opportunity during the 2026-2027 school year. This position offers the option for part-time or full-time hours while supporting elementary students across multiple school buildings.
Schedule:
Part-Time or Full-Time 20-35 Hours Per Week Monday-Friday Flexible scheduling based on candidate preference and district needs
School Year:
August 17, 2026 - June 4, 2027
Setting:
Elementary students Support across 2-3 school buildings, depending on weekly hours Travel between school sites required Travel between school sites can be reimbursed
Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and reevaluations Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary meetings Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Provide consultation and support to school teams Maintain accurate assessment documentation and compliance
Qualifications:
Active Michigan School Psychologist certification/licensure School-based experience preferred Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills
