The role supports academic success by identifying learning barriers and collaborating with educators to implement evidence‑based strategies. The psychologist contributes to a multidisciplinary team focused on fostering student well‑being and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to guide academic and behavioral interventions. Develop individualized support plans for students with emotional, behavioral, or learning challenges. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to monitor progress and adjust strategies. Provide crisis intervention and counseling to students experiencing acute stress or trauma. Facilitate group counseling sessions and social skills training for diverse student populations. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal reporting requirements.
