Salary:
Up to $67.00 per hour We are seeking a qualified School Psychologist to support students across elementary, middle, and high school settings in the Plymouth-Canton area. The role primarily focuses on testing and evaluation, with assignments generally located in school buildings operating across two levels. The successful candidate will provide professional psychological services, conduct assessments, collaborate with school teams, and support student educational and developmental needs. Job Overview
  • School levels: Elementary, Middle School, and High School.
  • Primary responsibility: Testing and evaluation.
Caseload:
No regular caseload; primarily testing.
  • Work schedule: 37.5 hours per week.
  • Service areas: Plymouth,MI & Canton,MI Responsibilities
  • Conduct psychological and educational assessments.
  • Perform testing in accordance with school and program requirements.
  • Interpret assessment results and prepare accurate reports.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary school teams.
  • Support the identification of students' academic, behavioral, emotional, and developmental needs.
  • Participate in student-support meetings and evaluation planning.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Follow applicable professional standards, school policies, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide services in a professional, respectful, and student-centered manner. Qualifications
  • Appropriate School Psychologist credentials or licensure for practice in Michigan.
  • Ability to provide psychological testing and evaluation services in a school setting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educators and student-support professionals.
  • Commitment to protecting student privacy, dignity, and educational rights.
  • Ability to travel between assigned school locations in the Plymouth-Canton area, as required.
Compensation Salary:
Up to $67.00 per hour Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the regular rate for hours exceeding 40 hours in one week, when applicable.
