Make a meaningful impact in the academic and emotional development of students as a school psychologist supporting elementary or middle school learners. This contract assignment is for the upcoming 26/27 school year, located near Sterling Heights, MI, with onsite responsibilities across multiple buildings. You'll have the opportunity to work 20-30 hours per week, splitting your time between either three elementary schools or two middle schools, fostering a supportive, inclusive environment for students and staff alike.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience with school-based psychological assessments and interventions Familiarity with Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) frameworks Strong collaboration skills to partner with educators, administrators, and families Compassionate approach and commitment to student well-being

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct student assessments and interpret results to help design individualized education and intervention plans Consult with teachers and staff to develop strategies supporting students academic and emotional needs Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise in behavioral and academic supports for diverse learners Deliver short-term counseling or crisis intervention as needed Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state policies
