Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Take on a rewarding contract opportunity as a School Psychologist, supporting students in the Adrian and Tecumseh areas. For those passionate about student wellbeing and guidance, this full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact throughout the entire school year.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
Certification/licensure as a School Psychologist, with credentials valid in Michigan Experience working within a school setting preferred Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation abilities Knowledge of
MTSS/RTI
processes, IEPs, and educational law Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, families, and administrators Ability to work across multiple locations as needed
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct psychoeducational assessments and interpret results to inform educational planning Consult with teachers and staff regarding individualized student support strategies Participate actively in Student Support Teams and IEP meetings Deliver counseling and intervention services directly to students in need Assist in crisis response and prevention efforts within the school community Maintain thorough records and documentation aligned with school and state guidelines This position provides the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated educational professionals and support a varied student population.
