Job Description

JOB SUMMARY
Hands on support for the development of new products, testing, prototypes, and pilot production in a factory setting. Document testing, process development, and equipment parameters. Routinely building and taking apart machinery, fixturing, and equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Create samples, conduct testing, and experiments with little to no supervision Set up, operate, and maintain R D melting equipment safely and accurately. Record and analyze test data and prepare reports for engineers. Follows safe working practices. Follows all company policies, rules, and procedures. Uses hand tools, measuring equipment, calculators, and computers. Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment. Helps troubleshoot equipment and quality concerns. Maintains reports and related paperwork as required. Suggests improvement ideas and plans.
RECOMMENDED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
Associate's degree in engineering/business or equivalent combination of education and experience. Exceptional communication skills and attitude. Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and computer systems Able to use hand tools, power tools, and measurement instruments Ability to read, understand, and utilize operation manuals, procedures, and standards. Must be neat, organized, and a self-starter.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift 35 lbs on a regular basis Standing, walking while performing duties Occasionally required to climb, stoop, or kneel Frequently required to operate a fork truck, hand truck, and overhead crane
WORKING SCHEDULE
7am
  • 3:30 pm Overtime and weekends as required.
COMPENSATION
$30
  • 35/hr Overtime
  • time and half. Sundays
  • double time.
