🌟 Bring Your Expertise to Students Who Need It Most 🌟 School Psychologist — Greater Detroit, Michigan Are you a School Psychologist looking for meaningful, flexible work in an educational setting? We welcome experienced professionals—including retirees interested in returning to the field—to use their knowledge and skills to support student mental health and learning. Our mission-driven organization is looking for a dedicated School Psychologist to join our counseling team. This opportunity offers 20 hours per week of in-person counseling services at partner schools throughout the Greater Detroit area , with the opportunity to collaborate with educators and other professionals while making a direct impact on students. 💼

School Psychologist 💰
Compensation:

Participate in required meetings, trainings, and professional development. Maintain dependable attendance, punctuality, and timely communication regarding schedules and work needs. Partner with teachers, school administrators, parents, and other professionals to promote student learning, mental health, and overall well-being. Complete comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations addressing cognitive, academic, behavioral, emotional, and social functioning. Analyze and interpret assessment findings and prepare written reports that include data-informed recommendations. 📋 Minimum Qualifications Master's degree in School Psychology or Clinical Psychology Access to a mobile phone for email and basic internet access when working offsite Current Michigan School Psychologist certificate Experience administering cognitive, achievement, and behavioral assessments Demonstrated proficiency in developing plans and facilitating meetings Willingness to travel between locations as needed Ability to successfully clear IChat Valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance that permits use of a personal vehicle for work, including 25/50k liability coverage 🌈 Work Setting & Physical Requirements This role may involve working across a variety of settings, including: Classrooms Clinics Students' homes Noise levels may range from moderate to loud, and physical demands can vary depending on the setting and circumstances.
