Job Description

Exciting opportunities are available for dedicated and compassionate professionals to work as a school psychologist in a supportive educational environment near Troy, MI. Embrace a contract role providing expert guidance and services within elementary or middle school settings for the upcoming 26/27 school year. This onsite position spans 20-30 hours per week and offers the rewarding chance to contribute across 2-3 school buildings, making a measurable impact on student success.

Preferred qualifications and experience:

Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program State of Michigan certification as a School Psychologist or eligibility to obtain certification Proven experience working with elementary and/or middle school populations Strong knowledge of assessment tools, intervention strategies, and IEP development Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration abilities Familiarity with multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) and Response to Intervention (RTI) Ability to work effectively across multiple buildings with multidisciplinary teams Position responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and comprehensive assessments for students Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct counseling to students and consult with teachers and families Collaborate on early intervention, behavior management, and crisis prevention programs Participate in problem-solving and data review meetings to support student achievement Offer guidance on classroom accommodations, 504 plans, and behavioral plans Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-focused school culture This contract position presents an excellent opportunity to broaden your professional impact, collaborate with dedicated colleagues, and shape the educational experiences of students in a vibrant community.
