Williamston, MI Description Birch Agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Psychologist to join a school district in Williamston, Michigan for a temporary assignment from December 2026 through April 2027 . This is an excellent opportunity to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff while helping students achieve academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success during a leave coverage assignment.

Williamston, MI Temporary assignment: December 2026 through April 2027 Full-time position In-person assignment Competitive compensation Supportive multidisciplinary team environment Opportunity to make an immediate impact on student success Responsibilities Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments for students referred for special education services. Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports. Participate in eligibility meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary team discussions. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, related service providers, and families to support student success. Provide consultation regarding behavioral, academic, social, and emotional interventions. Assist in the development and implementation of behavior intervention plans and student support strategies. Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Collaborate with school teams to address student needs and support educational outcomes. Promote positive school climate initiatives and support student mental health and well-being. Requirements Valid Michigan School Psychologist certification or licensure required. Master's, Specialist (Ed.

S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program. Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing evaluation reports. Knowledge of special education laws, procedures, and best practices. Strong communication, consultation, and collaboration skills. Previous school-based experience preferred.
