Job Description

Step into a vital role providing psychological services in a school setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. This contract position is ideal for professionals eager to make a difference supporting students and collaborating with dedicated educators at a respected institution. With a focus on a manageable caseload and a flexible, part-time schedule of 15 hours per week, you can deliver impactful services while maintaining strong work-life balance.
Key Qualifications:
Active Minnesota School Psychologist license (required) Experience working as a School Psychologist or in a similar school-based mental health setting Strong assessment, consultation, and intervention skills Excellent communication and documentation abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with students, educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams School Social Workers with appropriate licensure may also be considered if a School Psychologist is not available
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments Participate in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and special education eligibility meetings Develop and implement evidence-based interventions for academic, emotional, and behavioral needs Provide consultation to teachers and families to support student learning and development Crisis intervention and collaboration on student safety planning, as needed Maintain detailed, compliant documentation and case records Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain best practices
