This contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced School Psychologist seeking a flexible schedule, as the position offers a 0.8 full-time equivalent workload. You'll collaborate closely with educators, families, and administrators to provide essential psychological services and interventions, contributing to an inclusive and supportive learning atmosphere. What we're seeking: Current School Psychologist certification in Minnesota (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience working in K-12 school environments preferred Strong background in psychological assessment, counseling, and development of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Effective communicator with students, staff, and parents Skilled in data-driven decision making and progress monitoring Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset Key responsibilities: Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and eligibility for special education services Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and behavior Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized planning Offer counseling services to students as needed Consult with teachers and parents regarding student progress and classroom strategies Maintain accurate records and stay current with best practices in school psychology Support crisis intervention and conflict resolution when necessary This position provides an exciting chance to make a difference with a manageable caseload and great professional support.
