As a Hematology Oncology Infusion RN, you'll engage in meaningful work focused on pediatric patient care, while expanding your expertise in radiation therapy and oncology nursing. Assignment Details:
  • 16-week travel contract
  • 8-hour day shifts
Required Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current MN RN license or MN Temp Permit-RN
  • BLS certification
  • PEARS or PALS certification
  • Recent completion (within 5 years) of Pediatric Chemotherapy & Biotherapy Provider Course through APHON or equivalent
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in pediatric Hematology/Oncology nursing
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assess pediatric patients before, during, and after chemotherapy and infusion therapy
  • Safely administer chemotherapy, blood products, and supportive medications
  • Monitor and promptly address side effects and adverse reactions
  • Manage central lines, including ports and PICCs, using sterile technique
  • Deliver pain and symptom management, including supportive care for nausea and fatigue
  • Educate patients and families on treatments, potential side effects, and at-home care
  • Provide compassionate emotional support to children and their caregivers
  • Collaborate with oncologists and multidisciplinary teams
  • Accurately document care, medication administration, and patient responses in
