Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students and educators in a dynamic school-based setting as a contracted school psychologist. This vital role focuses on using your expertise to foster a positive learning environment and promote academic, social, and emotional growth.
What you bring:
Current licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist Strong understanding of assessment, intervention, and counseling within educational settings Experience collaborating with educators, families, and other professionals Proficiency developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) Comfort working with diverse student populations and age groups Excellent communication, organizational, and report-writing skills Adaptability and initiative in fast-paced school environments Your key contributions: Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to inform educational planning Provide direct support and counseling to students with academic, behavioral, or emotional needs Work closely with teachers, parents, and teams to interpret assessment data and recommend interventions Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and assist in developing IEPs and 504 plans Support crisis intervention, positive behavior strategies, and staff training initiatives Advocate for students by promoting systems that support student achievement and well-being Maintain accurate documentation and comply with federal, state, and local regulations This contract opportunity offers exposure to a vibrant school community with the flexibility and professional fulfillment that comes from making a difference every day.
