Job ID60588 Location Columbia Full/Part TimeFull-Time Hiring Department The Thompson Center Job Description The Thompson Center for Autism and Neurodevelopment is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Psychometrist to support psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents. This position plays a vital role in the assessment process by ensuring accurate test administration, scoring, and documentation while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary clinical teams. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Administer psychological and neuropsychological assessments to children and adolescents (parents may be present to assist as needed) Score assessments and prepare comprehensive data table summaries of all tests administered Document detailed behavioral and testing observations within two business days Participate in consultation with psychology and interdisciplinary teams regarding: Behavioral observations Test results Validity and interpretation considerations Attend weekly Psychology Team meetings Maintain interview and testing rooms, ensuring readiness and organization Manage and track testing materials and assessment tools Provide administrative and clinical support to supervising psychologists as requested ________________________________________ Additional Opportunities Training center staff on standardized test administration Participation on the Crisis Prevention and Intervention Team Training in administration of the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule, Second Edition (ADOS-2) ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate Qualities Strong attention to detail and observational skills Ability to work effectively with children and adolescents of varying developmental levels Professional communication skills and collaborative team approach Excellent time management and documentation accuracy Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical testing practices Shift Monday•Friday 8:00 a.m.•5:00 p.m. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired is necessary. Certifications as required by state/federal law or regulatory agencies is necessary Anticipated Hiring Range
