Key Qualifications:

Hold an active Missouri Department of Education school psychologist certification Strong background in administering special education assessments and evaluations Experience collaborating with diverse school staff, students, and families Familiarity with legal and ethical guidelines in a school setting Ability to travel between assigned school locations as required Satisfactory fingerprinting and prompt submission of required district forms

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students suspected of needing special education services Maintain an average caseload of 8-10 cases at any given time, with a full-time average of 32 cases per year Participate in Child Find activities and contribute to multidisciplinary team decisions Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop and support student interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs) Provide crisis intervention and consultation as needed Keep meticulous records in compliance with district and state regulations
