Lakeland Behavioral Health System is seeking licensed and provisionally licensed mental health clinicians interested in flexible independent contract work providing psychotherapy services to children and adolescents in an inpatient behavioral health setting. This is an excellent opportunity for clinicians who want to supplement their existing income, build experience with higher acuity populations, or create a flexible clinical schedule without the headaches of maintaining a traditional outpatient caseload. As an Allied Health Professional, you determine when and how much you want to work. There is no traditional 8 to 5 schedule and no expectation that Lakeland become your full time practice. Depending on your interests and availability, services may include individual therapy, family therapy, treatment planning, safety planning, and therapeutic groups. You'll collaborate with psychiatrists, nurses, social services, behavioral health staff, and other clinicians as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team while maintaining the independence and flexibility of contract practice. Who we're looking for We are looking for clinicians who are comfortable working with children and adolescents experiencing significant behavioral health needs and who can function independently in a fast paced clinical environment. Missouri licensed or license eligible behavioral health professionals are encouraged to inquire, including LPCs, LCSWs, PLPCs, LMSWs, and other appropriately credentialed clinicians, subject to Lakeland credentialing, scope of practice, and supervision requirements. All AHP clinicians must successfully complete Lakeland's credentialing process and receive approval through the hospital's Governing Body before providing services.
