Gross Weekly Pay (Traveler) : $4,760/Week ( Includes Lodging & M&I Stipends $ 1,246 )
Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Psychologist to join our team in Tutwiler, Mississippi for a 6-month contract assignment . The ideal candidate will provide psychological assessments, mental health evaluations, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and treatment planning for individuals with diverse behavioral and mental health needs. The psychologist will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, evidence-based care while maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and diagnostic assessments. Administer, score, and interpret psychological and cognitive testing. Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy. Diagnose mental health disorders using DSM-5 criteria. Perform crisis intervention and risk assessments, including suicide and violence evaluations.
Requirements:
Active and unrestricted Mississippi Psychologist License Minimum of 2 years of recent clinical psychologist experience . Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or required based on facility policy). Experience conducting psychological assessments and evidence-based therapy. Ability to work 8-hour night shifts Experience in correctional, behavioral health, hospital, community mental health, or forensic settings. Interested?
