9681246-28422 Job Description Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist in a full-time, contract role providing support across multiple educational sites in a dynamic itinerant position. You'll collaborate closely with educators, students, and families to promote positive learning environments, facilitate student well-being, and contribute valuable expertise to student support teams.
Desired Qualifications:
Current, active North Carolina School Psychologist license (required) Previous school-based experience strongly preferred Solid understanding of assessment tools, intervention techniques, and compliance requirements Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Commitment to supporting diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational and behavioral assessments Interpret evaluation data and communicate findings to staff and families Develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) and student support plans Provide consultative services to teachers and parents to enhance student success Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and consultation as needed Travel between assigned school sites as part of an itinerant team Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines This contract opportunity offers robust benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401k match, all aimed at supporting your well-being.
