Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Valid and current School Psychologist certification or license (or eligibility for licensure) Experience conducting psychological and educational assessments in a school setting Strong understanding of special education processes, laws, and regulations (IDEA, 504 plans) Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Commitment to diversity, equity, and culturally responsive practices
Key Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive evaluations for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns Work closely with students, teachers, and families to develop and implement individualized plans Serve as a valuable resource on the IEP team, contributing to eligibility determinations and intervention strategies Deliver counseling, crisis intervention, and consultative services Support staff with classroom interventions and professional development Promote positive school climate and inclusive practices
