Full-Time or Part-Time(School-Based) About the Position We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated School-Based Therapist to provide mental health services to students within a school setting in Fayetteville, NC. This role focuses on improving students' emotional well-being, behavior, and academic success through evidence-based interventions delivered during the school day. Primary Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and group counseling services to school-age youth Deliver SEL psycho group services addressing emotional, behavioral, and social needs (topics may include self-awareness, emotional regulation, empathy, conflict resolution, decision-making, and relationship skills) Collaborate with teachers, school staff, administrators, and families to support student success per instructions of practice's leadership team Complete comprehensive clinical assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in a timely manner Maintain compliance with agency policies and state regulations Participate in IEP/504 meetings, school team meetings, and case consultations as assigned by practice's leadership team Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when needed Coordinate care with parents/guardians Support behavior management strategies within the classroom setting Offer after-school sessions to accommodate family schedules when necessary Provide individual, family, and/or group sessions to non-school based students who are consumers of the practice Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, ethical standards, etc. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Must hold an active North Carolina license in one of the following: LCSWA or LCSW LCMHCA or LCMHC LMFT or LMFTA Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Experience working with children, adolescents, and families preferred Knowledge of school systems, trauma-informed care, and behavioral interventions preferred Strong clinical, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently within a school environment Must pass criminal background check and any school clearance requirements Pay depends on if you are an associate our fully license therapist Work Schedule Services provided during school hours, after school, summer camps as needed Follows the school calendar (on site services) May work virtually during school breaks, holidays, and summer Additional Expectations Must be a team player with a positive, professional attitude Willingness to assist colleagues and support overall practice operations Ability to adapt to changing needs within the school and practice environment Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and supervision as required Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of students, families, schools, and the practice Willing to help where needed to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently Why Join Our Team Meaningful work directly impacting youth and families Supportive and collaborative environment Opportunity to work within schools and communities Competitive compensation (based on licensure and experience) Administrative and clinical support provided
