Psychologist Technician Mayvin - 3.7 Fort Bragg, NC Job Details Full-time 23 hours ago Qualifications Individual crisis management Behavioral psychological assessments De-escalation techniques Conflict de-escalation Individual psychological assessments Associate's degree Full Job Description Mayvin is seeking a Psychologist Technician (Psych Tech) to support the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) at Ft. Bragg, NC. As a Psych Tech, you will work closely with psychologists and other mental health professionals to provide psychological support services to personnel within USSOCOM. Must be a U.S. citizen Must have an active Top Secret clearance
Responsibilities:
Present a professional image when interacting with all candidates and customers Administer psychological assessments, compile data, and prepare testing reports in support of Assessment & Selection (A&S) and professional development programs under the supervision of a licensed psychologist Conduct in-person psychological testing for individuals and groups of up to 100 personnel while maintaining test and process security Configure testing environments and prepare, maintain, and perform operational checks on all required testing supplies and equipment Maintain the security of psychological testing materials and equipment and manage the computerized database for all collected data
Required Qualifications :
A minimum of 10 years' experience as a Psych Tech within Department of Defense or equivalent Government agency Associate degree with 12 semester hours in psychology Education requirements may be met by military or comparable training If military trained, the individual's specialty must be as a mental health technician / specialist Completed psychological technician training that includes a sound foundation in psychological assessment and human behavior that also addresses the basics of conflict management and how to de-escalate crisis situations and individuals who are agitated, violent or potentially violent and/or suicidal
