Mood Treatment Center has been offering high quality, accessible mental health care for over thirty years. We're an insurance-based practice growing across North Carolina, and we're looking for an LPA to support our psychological testing for our patients. We offer psychological testing, Spravato, TMS, therapy, and general psychiatry— often all under one roof. Who we're looking for This position is not an entry-level assessment position and requires experience independently conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and generating integrated diagnostic reports. The ideal candidate is a highly independent clinician who is comfortable exercising clinical judgment, developing local referral relationships, troubleshooting operational challenges, and helping establish best practices for a growing assessment service line. Previous experience independently conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations and generating integrated diagnostic reports is required. This is not an entry-level assessment position. Your day-to-day role Administer psychological assessments in a consistent manner with prevailing standards and procedures. Ensure that the services are provided in accordance with the policies and procedures of the facility, local, state, and federal laws, regulation and licensure/accreditation standards. Create a climate that promotes quality treatment for each client and family through excellence as outlined in the facility's policies and procedures. Attend clinical staffing meetings and seek supervision consistently and when situations warrant. Collect and communicate ongoing clinical data to the supervising psychologist, treating clinician, and direct support staff. Develop professional competence through participation in continuing educational programs. Assist and coordinate care to meet all accreditation and certification requirements Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies. Minimum Requirements :

Education/Experience:

Masters degree In Psychology.

Licenses/Certifications:

Current, valid Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA) license Issued by the state of NC, or eligibility for licensure prior to start date. Minimum of 3 years of experience conducting psychological evaluations. Experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and writing integrated reports for a variety of psychological assessments. Strong written communication skills with demonstrated ability to produce clear, comprehensive psychological reports. Ability to work independently with limited onsite supervision. Experience collaborating with psychiatrists, therapists, primary care providers, schools and other referral sources. Proficiency with electronic health records and telehealth platforms.

Strongly Preferred Qualifications :

5+ years of psychological testing experience. Prior experience helping develop or expand a psychological assessment program. Experience conducting evaluations across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults).

Experience assessing:

o ADHD o Autism Spectrum Disorder o Learning Disorders o Mood and Anxiety Disorders o Personality Disorders o Diagnostic clarification cases Experience with commonly used measures such as: o WISC-V o

WAIS-IV/WAIS-5

o WIAT-4 o ADOS-2 o BASC-3 o Conners o Vineland-3 o PAI o MMPI-3 o MCMI-IV Experience supervising psychometrists, technicians, or trainees. Familiarity with insurance documentation and medical necessity requirements. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Standard part-time or full-time schedule of 40 hours per week. Fast-paced, high-volume behavioral health practice. Requires prolonged computer use and frequent interaction with electronic systems.
