The Psychologist will conduct psychological assessments, provide evidence-based treatment, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with other members of the care team to support positive outcomes for clients. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments. Diagnose mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders within the scope of licensure. Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy as appropriate. Develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs. Monitor client progress and modify treatment plans when necessary. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, peer support specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in treatment planning and care coordination. Provide crisis intervention and appropriate referrals when needed. Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations, payer requirements, and IHS policies. Protect client confidentiality and follow HIPAA requirements. Participate in clinical meetings, consultations, and continuing education as required. Qualifications Current and unrestricted North Carolina Psychology license . Experience providing behavioral health services preferred. Strong knowledge of psychological assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment approaches. Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary behavioral health team. Must maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards. Current CPR certification and other required credentials may be required based on position and service setting. Preferred Experience Experience working with individuals with mental health, substance use, developmental, or behavioral health needs. Experience working with Medicaid-funded behavioral health services. Experience with electronic health records (EHR) and clinical documentation. Experience working with community-based or outpatient behavioral health programs.
