We're an insurance-based practice growing across North Carolina, and we're looking for an LPA to support our psychological testing for our patients. We offer psychological testing, Spravato, TMS, therapy, and general psychiatry— often all under one roof. Who we're looking for We are looking for a detail-oriented and compassionate Psychologist to provide direct patient care and oversee the administration, interpretation, and integration of psychological assessments. The ideal candidate is an experienced clinician who is confident exercising independent clinical judgment, developing comprehensive diagnostic formulations, and communicating findings clearly to patients, families, and other members of the treatment team. The ideal candidate has experience conducting comprehensive psychological and cognitive evaluations and is comfortable selecting and administering appropriate assessment measures, interpreting test results, integrating multiple sources of clinical information, and developing well-supported diagnostic impressions. Experience independently generating comprehensive, integrated psychological evaluation reports is required. The Psychologist should be able to exercise sound clinical judgment throughout the assessment process while maintaining accurate documentation, adhering to standardized assessment procedures, and collaborating effectively with patients, families, and other members of the clinical team. You contribute to the care of our patients while having an amazing, nurturing work team supporting you! Your day-to-day role Provide assessment and recommendations for appropriate treatments. Diagnose and treat various mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. As needed, provide referrals to internal or external practitioners. Provide counseling to individuals and families within the scope of practice and experience. Document services provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) consistent with standards of practice, internal policies of Mood Treatment Center, and HIPAA or other regulator requirements. Maintain appropriate licensure, supervision, and continuing education requirements in a manner consistent with standards of practice. Maintain knowledge of current standards of care and research in the field; apply knowledge to improve practice and provision of care. Adheres to appropriate practice guidelines in provision of care. Must be eligible to participate in commercial insurance networks and Medicare. Other job duties as assigned. Work Environment & Physical Requirements Standard part-time or full-time schedule. Fast-paced, high-volume behavioral health practice. Requires prolonged computer use and frequent interaction with electronic systems.

Minimum Requirements :

Education/Experience:

Doctoral degree from an accredited program required. Three or more years' experience preferred.

Licenses/Certifications:

Current, valid psychologist license issued by the state of NC required. Special areas of focus (i.e., children/adolescents) preferred. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Must be comfortable working with children for testing Knowledge of psychiatric disorders and current treatment options/best practices. Strongly Preferred Qualifications :

2+ years of in the performance of psychological and/or neuropsychological testing and test scoring. Prior experience helping develop or expand a psychological assessment program. Experience conducting evaluations across the lifespan (children, adolescents, and adults).

Experience assessing:

o ADHD o Autism Spectrum Disorder o Learning Disorders o Mood and Anxiety Disorders o Personality Disorders o Diagnostic clarification cases Experience with commonly used measures such as: o WISC-V o

WAIS-IV/WAIS-5
