9520598-28352 Job Description Step into a fulfilling role supporting students well-being and growth over a full academic year. As a School Psychologist, you will collaborate with educators, families, and fellow professionals to foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. This position spans August 17th, 2026, to June 3rd, 2027, offering a full-time commitment (37.5 hours per week) and the chance to make a meaningful difference onsite.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist Experience working with children or adolescents in educational settings Strong understanding of assessment tools, interventions, and special education processes Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Dedication to supporting diverse student populations Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines Flexible, professional, and adaptive within a school-based environment Availability to work onsite; this assignment does not offer virtual/remote options
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological and educational assessments to evaluate students needs Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs) Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to create optimal support strategies Deliver direct and indirect counseling services for students Lead and participate in multi-disciplinary team meetings Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and legal guidelines Provide crisis intervention and behavioral support as needed Promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school climate This contract opportunity is ideal for School Psychologists eager to devote their skills and compassion to the academic year, working closely with students, families, and staff.
