9520598-28379 Job Description Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting K-12 students as a full-time School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract position begins August 17th, 2026, and continues through June 3rd, 2027, offering you the chance to provide vital psychological services within a dynamic school environment. Youll work a consistent 37.5 hours per week, collaborating with dedicated educators and caring staff near Rockingham, North Carolina.

Qualifications and Experience:
Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program Valid state-issued School Psychologist certification or license, or eligibility to obtain Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments, developing IEPs, and implementing interventions Strong understanding of behavioral consultation, RTI/MTSS processes, and crisis intervention Solid interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to culturally responsive and ethical practices
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations for students referred for academic, behavioral, or emotional support Administer standardized assessments and interpret results for eligibility and planning Consult with teachers and administrators to develop and implement individualized interventions Provide direct counseling and support services to students, as appropriate Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to guide decisions and services Maintain timely, accurate documentation in accordance with school and district policies If you're eager to empower students and collaborate in a supportive educational community, this position is your opportunity to make a lasting impact.
