9429904-28787 Job Description Embark on a rewarding career supporting students growth and success as a contracted School Psychologist with an immediate start, continuing through late May 2026. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work with K12th grade students, primarily focused on assessment and evaluation within the Exceptional Children (EC) program. In this role, youll collaborate closely with educators, families, and special education teams. Your primary focus will be conducting cognitive, adaptive, behavioral, and specialized screenings to determine student eligibility for special services, as well as reevaluations as needed. Youll play a pivotal part in ensuring that students unique needs are identified and addressed appropriately.
Qualifications:
Active North Carolina School Psychologist license required Experience with K12 student populations preferred Strong assessment and report-writing skills Familiarity with EC eligibility criteria and IEP development Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and maintain detailed documentation
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for initial and reevaluations Administer standardized tests and interpret results for eligibility determination Prepare detailed reports and participate in eligibility meetings Consult with educators and parents to facilitate support plans Maintain accurate records and comply with all documentation requirements Support the overall mission of serving students with diverse needs This contract position offers a consistent 37.5 hours per week across five days, giving you the balance and stability you desire. Compensation is highly competitive, starting at $40 per hour.
