Key Qualifications:

Valid Nebraska state license as a School Psychologist Previous experience or strong knowledge of K-12 educational settings preferred Ability to serve collaboratively on multidisciplinary teams (Intervention, Safety, Building, or District Crisis Teams) Skilled in identifying students with educational disabilities and recommending appropriate interventions Strong communication abilities to consult with educators, staff, parents, and students Comfortable providing individual or group school-based counseling as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

Assess and identify students who may require Special Education services Participate as a valued member of various school and district teams to support student well-being and academic progress Develop and implement behavior intervention plans and academic intervention strategies Serve as a resource for staff, parents, and students on a range of educational and mental health topics Offer crisis intervention and counseling when situations arise Collaborate to create a supportive, inclusive environment for all students Flexible caseload (to be discussed further during the interview process)
