Job Description

At Center for NeuroWellness, we're seeking a skilled and detail-driven Psychometrist to support our psychologists and neuropsychologists in delivering high-quality evaluations that make a meaningful impact. In this role, you'll go beyond test administration — you'll be part of a team advancing best practices in brain health through precision, professionalism, and a whole-person approach to care. This is a great opportunity for a candidate with previous testing experience who is ready to grow clinically and sharpen their skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Position:
Psychometrist Responsibilities:
Administer cognitive, psychological, and neuropsychological assessments to children, adolescents, and/or adults Score, organize, and securely record test results in accordance with standardized protocols Prepare testing materials and maintain integrity of tools and procedures Observe and document behavioral patterns relevant to the assessment process Assist with test interpretation and report preparation under supervision Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold strict confidentiality in all interactions Communicate clearly with clinical staff regarding case needs and patient updates Support occasional research or data initiatives related to brain-based care Contribute to a well-organized, respectful, and responsive clinical environment
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required (psychology, neuroscience, or related field); Master's preferred Prior experience in a psychometrist or clinical testing role Experience with Neuropsychological testing, ADHD, memory, learning, executive function assessments, and/or ASD Knowledge of test scoring procedures and cognitive assessment batteries Strong attention to detail, professional time management, and data accuracy Warm, professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations Experience with digital scoring tools and electronic health records (EHRs) Interest in neuropsychology, or behavioral health a plus About Center for NeuroWellness We are a growing, multidisciplinary private practice with locations in Brick, Red Bank, Freehold, Manasquan, and East Brunswick, NJ.
