Job Description

Make a meaningful difference in the lives of young learners in a dynamic preschool setting! This full-time, contract opportunity offers the chance to support students growth and development through skilled psychological services. You will play a critical role in a collaborative educational environment, focusing on supporting both children and their families.
Key Qualifications:
Valid certification as a School Psychologist Previous experience providing psychological services within school environments preferred Strong background in assessment, intervention, and counseling with early childhood or preschool-age children Excellent communication, organization, and case management skills Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and support staff
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to support student placements and educational plans Serve as case manager for assigned students, ensuring effective coordination of services and ongoing progress monitoring Develop individualized strategies and interventions to promote student learning and emotional well-being Participate in IEP/504 meetings, sharing assessment results and providing recommendations for supports Consult with teachers and families to help create positive, supportive classroom environments Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in compliance with applicable regulations Provide crisis intervention and response as needed within the preschool building This is an outstanding opportunity to impact young minds at a vital stage of development while enjoying the professional challenges and rewards of a close-knit school community.
