Job Description

Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as a School Psychologist in a supportive, engaging educational environment located near Toms River, NJ. This full-time position is centered in a dedicated preschool building, where your expertise will play an essential role in fostering young learners growth, development, and well-being. As a School Psychologist, you will focus on comprehensive case management and assessment duties, with a chance to make a tangible difference in the lives of preschool-aged students. Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification recognized by the appropriate state board Masters or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a closely related field Previous experience in school settings, particularly with preschool or early childhood populations, preferred Strong background in psychological and psychoeducational assessment Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple cases and provide sensitive support to children and families
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments for students to identify learning, behavioral, and developmental needs Oversee case management for individual students requiring psychological support or special education services Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement effective intervention strategies Provide counseling and targeted support to students, as needed Maintain accurate records, prepare comprehensive reports, and participate in eligibility meetings Support a safe, inclusive, and supportive preschool environment Benefit from working in an environment where your professional skills and passion for early childhood education are valued daily.
