Job Description

Bring your expertise as a School Psychologist to a dynamic, supportive educational environment located near Tuckerton, NJ. This full-time, contract position focuses on making a meaningful impact in the lives of preschool students. Your background in case management and assessment will play a vital role in supporting young learners as they begin their educational journey.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist certification Experience practicing as a School Psychologist in a school-based setting Strong understanding of early childhood development Proficiency in conducting various assessments for preschool-aged children Familiarity with case management processes and special education team collaboration Effective communication skills with students, families, and multi-disciplinary teams Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases Compassion, patience, and a genuine passion for helping young learners
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments for preschool students Serve as a case manager for students requiring services and supports Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop intervention strategies Write detailed reports and recommendations based on assessment findings Attend meetings to discuss student progress and participate in eligibility decisions Support positive behavioral, social, and academic outcomes through data-informed decisions Contribute expertise to IEP and intervention planning teams
