Job Description

Exciting opportunities await dedicated School Psychologists seeking a rewarding contract role supporting students and educational teams near Espanola, NM. This is a full-time position focusing primarily on evaluations and assessments, with a manageable caseload of approximately 25-30 students. Your expertise will directly impact students' academic, behavioral, and emotional success, contributing to a positive learning environment.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid School Psychologist credential Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field Experience conducting psychological and educational evaluations in a school setting Strong knowledge of assessment tools, including standardized and individualized testing protocols Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Prior experience working with diverse student populations is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations and interpret assessment results Provide timely written evaluation reports and participate in eligibility determination meetings Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals regarding student needs and intervention strategies Support the development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Track and document student progress and evaluation schedules to ensure compliance with deadlines Serve as a resource on behavior management, academic interventions, and promoting positive school climate
