Key Qualifications:

Master's degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Valid and current School Psychologist certification or ability to obtain licensure in New Mexico Previous experience working in educational settings with students from diverse backgrounds Skilled in conducting assessments, developing intervention plans, and providing counseling Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills Knowledge of Special Education policies and procedures

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and interpret evaluation results Develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide input on 504 plans Offer crisis intervention services and participate in behavioral intervention planning Consult with staff, administrators, and families to address student needs Deliver counseling and support to students individually or in groups Facilitate workshops or training on social-emotional learning and mental health Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
