Qualifications Master's or specialist-level degree in School Psychology, Educational Psychology, or a related discipline from an accredited program Current or eligible School Psychologist licensure/certification in Nevada Strong foundation in psychoeducational assessments, special education processes, and evidence-based behavioral interventions Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Demonstrated ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams and build connections with students, staff, and families Previous school-based experience preferred Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment findings Participate in eligibility determinations and special education processes in compliance with all local, state, and federal guidelines Develop, implement, and monitor behavioral and social-emotional interventions tailored to student needs Provide individual and small group counseling as appropriate Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and special education professionals to address academic and behavioral challenges Support intervention planning through Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBAs) and Behavioral Intervention Plans (BIPs) Offer crisis intervention and support as needed Maintain detailed, confidential records and adhere to professional and legal standards Engage in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities This is an exciting opportunity to elevate students' lives while working in a collaborative and innovative educational community.
