Clinical Psychologist Psychologist Responsibilities:

Research Research and identify behavioral or emotional issues, such as anxiety and depression Conduct research and publish findings in industry journals Contribute to the knowledge about human behavior Assessment Observe patients in various settings and interpret intelligence and personality Assess patients and provide recommendations for treatments Assess, diagnose, and treat personality disorders

Qualification:

Education Earn a bachelor's degree in psychology, such as a Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) Earn a master's degree in psychology, such as a Master of Arts (MA) or Master of Science (MS) Earn a doctoral degree in psychology, such as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) Training Complete a clinical internship under the supervision of a licensed psychologist Complete a one-year full-time internship during graduate school Complete additional supervised practice Exams Pass a national exam and any state-specific exams Pass the Licensure Examination for Psychologists administered by the
