Qualifications:
Valid New York certification as a School Psychologist is required Experience in schools—either as a School Psychologist or in a related professional capacity Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork with staff, students, and families Ability to administer assessments, interpret data, and create actionable recommendations Compassionate and committed to student-centered practices
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments Deliver individual and group counseling to students as needed Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop and implement student intervention plans Support students' academic and social-emotional needs through evidence-based techniques Participate in meetings, including IEP and eligibility meetings Provide crisis intervention and contribute to a positive school climate In addition to the opportunity for meaningful work, weekly pay is included, with a pay rate ranging from $50 to $60 per hour.
