Qualifications & Experience:

Current and valid NY School Psychologist license (NY PSYCH. required) Experience working in elementary school settings preferred Solid understanding of counseling, assessment, and intervention strategies for children Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and support staff Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills Commitment to ethical practice and student confidentiality

Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive psychological evaluations for elementary-aged students Provide individual and group counseling sessions promoting wellness and positive behaviors Develop and assist with implementation of IEPs, Section 504 plans, and intervention strategies Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings and eligibility determinations Consult with teachers and families to address academic, behavioral, and emotional needs Contribute to crisis intervention and prevention programs as needed
