Category Schools - School Psychologist Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding opportunity as a School Psychologist for the 2026-2027 academic year at a vibrant educational environment near Cicero, NY. This full-time, onsite contract position offers an engaging schedule—Monday through Friday, 7.25 hours per day, totaling 36.25 hours each week. As a School Psychologist, your expertise will be vital in providing a range of psychoeducational assessments, supporting students' emotional and academic growth, and fostering a collaborative school climate. The role includes significant opportunities to lead, with responsibilities such as chairing CSE meetings and ensuring compliance with New York State standards. Candidates with previous
CSE/CPSE
Chairperson training or experience will feel exceptionally at home in this position. Ideal candidates will meet the following qualifications: Valid New York School Psychologist certification (required) Demonstrated skills in comprehensive student assessment and report writing Experience or strong familiarity with
CSE/CPSE
processes and protocols Excellent communication abilities for team collaboration and family engagement Strong organizational and leadership skills Primary responsibilities include: Conducting thorough cognitive, behavioral, and educational assessments Serving as chairperson for CSE meetings and guiding the special education evaluation process Collaborating with educators, families, and related service providers to support student success Contributing to the development and implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs) Supporting multi-tiered systems of support and proactive intervention strategies Enjoy the security of healthcare benefits and prompt, reliable weekly pay as part of this contract role.
