Job Description

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team! As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and vehicles. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication
  • Diagnose and repair diesel engines, including fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions control systems
  • Inspect and test vehicles to identify any issues or malfunctions
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to perform repairs
  • Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify problems and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Repair or replace faulty parts and components, such as brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems
  • Weld and fabricate parts as needed
  • Perform equipment repairs on cranes and other heavy machinery
  • Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and vehicle maintenance
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Familiarity with electrical systems and hydraulics
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot automotive issues effectively
  • Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
