Key Qualifications:
Masters degree or higher in School Psychology or a related field Valid state certification/licensure as a School Psychologist Experience conducting psychological assessments, developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and providing counseling services Strong communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, families, and support staff Understanding of current best practices in school psychology and special education laws
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs, strengths, and areas requiring support Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized student plans Provide direct counseling to students and crisis intervention as needed Consult with educators and families to support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development Support efforts to create positive, inclusive learning environments for all students Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district, state, and federal guidelines
