Valid New York State School Psychologist license Experience working within school settings preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage confidential information with sensitivity Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention abilities Commitment to fostering inclusive and supportive learning environments Key responsibilities include: Conducting individual and group assessments to support students' academic, social, and emotional growth Developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized education plans (IEPs) Consulting with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to design effective interventions Facilitating crisis prevention and response efforts within the school community Providing counseling, behavioral intervention, and progress monitoring as needed Maintaining accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations This contract position runs from September 3, 2026, to June 24, 2027, offering an excellent opportunity to build lasting relationships and enhance your professional skills.
