Our mission is to promote independence, foster community involvement, and enhance quality of life for those we serve. Overview We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Psychometrist to join our dynamic Article 16 Clinic. In this vital role, you will administer psychological assessments to persons diagnosed with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Prepare evaluation reports based on findings using standardized test instruments. Deliver Counseling services to individuals and their families utilizing the treatment methods of individual counseling. Document interventions in session notes and treatment plans. Responsibilities Administer, score, and interpret psychological tests and assessments for children and adults with intellectual developmental disabilities, using standardized instruments in psychological testing Prepare reports of psychological test findings Provide individual counseling to individuals diagnosed with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities admitted to the Article 16 Clinic and prepare and maintain a treatment plan as required by OPWDD regulations Participate in interdisciplinary team process and develop and follow through a treatment plan for each assigned client Attend all local, state and federally required trainings Provide consultation to individuals and families regarding appropriate psychological interventions Update and maintain clinical records in a timely manner per regulatory requirements of the Article 16 Clinic Demonstrate knowledge of Part 679 Clinic regulations and other related
NYS/OPWDD
policies.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Psychology and one (1) year experience in psychological testing of individuals with IDD and preparations of evaluation reports required. Successful candidates must have experience in the administration of the following tests: Stanford-Binet Intelligence Scales Wechler Scales, Comprehensive Test of Nonverbal Intelligence Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scales•Revision 3 Wide Range Achievement Test•Revision 5 Join us in making a meaningful difference!
